JAN 13 – David Horne, Lauren Murada & Anno

After a long and relaxing hiatus, we are back with our first Saturday of the year and we’ve brought some cool cats with us!

David Horne (Melb)

Horne Dogg is a Melbourne based DJ who cut his teeth in some of Sydney’s most loved bars and clubs (including a three-year residency at the infamous late night party den, The Flinders). Dave’s sets have been known to keep a party kicking well into the wee hours. Forever searching for new and rare music, David’s sets have been known to include everything from disco to house to African rare groove and classic party tunes.

Lauren Murada (NYC)

DJ extraordinaire, dance-floor killer and longtime friend of Picnic, Lauren Murada is back in town just in time to celebrate her shared birthday with the incredible Hannah Hindmarsh!
L&L&L Record Club member, Love Games host, Good Room resident and radio host, there isn’t much this lady can’t do!

Lauren has been taking New York by storm with her knack for bringing everyone’s inner disco freak out in full force. With an arsenal of oddball house, funk, rock and italo records at the ready, our girl has delivered highly acclaimed shows at Le Bain, Black Flamingo, Bossa Nova Civic Club and Jupiter Disco to name a few. Not just a great selector, she has turned heads with her hugely successful Love Games party, which brings NYC’s most soulful DJ’s together every month.

Anno (Lovebombs)

One of Sydney’s most skilled selectors, Anno is jumping on board to get the party moving. Lovebombs resident and lover of rare and obscure gems, he has moved the hips of dancers all around town with his infamous Lovebombs parties. His exceptional read on a crowd has seen him share the booth with the likes of Moodyman, Harvey Sutherland, Chez Damier and Darshan Jesrani. From festival slots to heaving house parties, Anno is the perfect man to keep the dance-floor well and truly alive.
