Heading into the third year of running our Vivid program it was top of the list to have a female headline one of our Thursday Night Live nights! It’s with the greatest pleasure we present Melbourne’s Makeda for a free, live set!

Makeda oscillates between aural, physical and curatorial practice, including music, installation/performance art, radio and design.

Sketching a svelte aural palette, she has performed locally and internationally at festivals and clubs including Dark Mofo, RVNG International’s ‘Commend’ store, Cool Room, Soft Centre, the Cité Internationale des Arts, and Bossa Nova Civic – alongside a diverse range of artists including Klein, Oscar Key Sung, Elysia Crampton and Inga Mauer.

Her debut EP, Lifetrap, has been set free to incredible reception and we’re dying to hear what she’ll piece together for us!

Nat James will be blessing us with a dub set and Gia Luvera & Edie Virelli will be doing their thing too!
